About an Hour from Austin
Packsaddle sits in the Texas Hill Country, about an hour northwest of Austin on State Highway 71. Most visitors drive in from Austin or fly into Austin-Bergstrom. Horseshoe Bay Resort, where FTX groups and visiting match fields stay, is about fifteen minutes from the range.

Fly into Austin-Bergstrom in the morning and be on the range after lunch, or fly straight into Horseshoe Bay Resort Airport, about twenty minutes away.
Drive times are door to gate, in normal traffic.

A full-service resort on Lake LBJ, about fifteen minutes from the range, with roughly 400 rooms, championship golf, a marina, pools and restaurants. Lake LBJ is held at a constant level, so the shoreline looks the same in August as it does in April.
